Abstract

The newly commenced provisions of the Children First Act, including mandated reporting, came into effect on 11th December and this will impact all those working with children. In Barnardos, we are busy updating our training programmes to reflect these changes and our new programmes will be available from mid-January 2018. We have produced a free parent's booklet on Child Protection and will have a handbook for early years educators available early 2018.
