Abstract

In this first issue of Early Year eNews of the year we bring you the welcome news of Regulations that provide for the registration of school age childcare services. This will allow school age services to participate in the forthcoming Affordable Childcare Scheme. This issue also provides information about CPD payments for training in Aistear and Play, new appointments to the Better Outcomes, Brighter Futures National Advisory Council, as well a number of reports and studies launched so far this year relating to children and families.
