Abstract
This report documents the outcome of an assessment of needs undertaken by Barnardos in West Tallaght, from December 2000 to March 2001. It involved consultation with Barnardos staff, families, children, agencies, organisations, community groups and early years services in the area in order to ascertain the gaps in the current provision of services for children and their families and prioritise the development of new services. The information gathered will inform the planning and the development of Barnardos’ services on their move to Knockmore.
