Children First 2017 promotes that organisations and clubs have a Designated Liaison Person in place who is responsible for overseeing child protection and welfare concerns. This training will equip you with the knowledge and skills required to effectively perform the role of Designated Liaison Person. Guidance will be provided to help you work through the elements of the Designated Liaison Person role, including supporting staff, managing anxieties and ensuring child protection and welfare referrals are made to the relevant statutory services.
