Abstract
Barnardos welcomes the opportunity to feed into the deliberations of the Advisory Group on Tax and Social Welfare. Barnardos believes that it is crucial that the social welfare system becomes more flexible and responsive to the changing demands of the labour market and the needs of parents trying to juggle child rearing and employment / training opportunities. In our short submission, Barnardos attempts to answer all the questions posed by the Advisory Group.
