Abstract
The importance of the first years in a child’s life in terms of development and learning cannot be over estimated. Barnardos wants every child to have access to a guaranteed, quality, regulated childcare place, staffed by well-trained practitioners capable of providing for the development and well-being of each child in their care. This publication is a significant contribution in supporting practitioners to develop and provide quality early childhood services.
