Much of the current debate around refugees and asylum seekers in Ireland has been based on emotions and political point scoring rather than evidence and the experience of those most closely involved. Racist agendas and the lack of a coherent government policy have not helped. Furthermore, throughout this debate very little attention has been paid to the needs and rights of children.Collections
